Racket shuttle is a fun sport that all ages can play. If you’re new to the game, you may be wondering how it begins. In this guide, you will learn how to play racket shuttle beings with rules, few basic techniques, and drill to improve your playing skill.   

Racket shuttle, or badminton, is played with Dmantis shuttle racket. The aim is to drive the shuttlecock over the net and into your opponent's half, appropriately increasing your chance of winning the rally. You can play singles (me against you — one kid against one kid), doubles (two kids against two kids) or mixed doubles, which is one boy and one girl on a team.

In order to play racket shuttle, you require a racket and a shuttlecock. Rackets come in varying sizes and weights, so choose one that feels right to you. The shuttlecock is relatively light with feathers attached to a cork base. You swatted it back and forth during the game.    

Once you are prepared, you can begin playing racket shuttle. The game opens with a serve, a player, who is serving, delivers the shuttlecock to commence the game. Players hit the shuttlecock back and forth — until one player can no longer return the shuttlecock, to the other player’s point.
