It will need a little practice, but when you connect with the shuttle cock, try and hit it as high as possible over the centre line of the court where your opponent is.
The backhand is another important shot. To do a back hand, you hold the racket with you other hand facing in front of you. Bring the racket back, and then strike the shuttlecock with the flat surface of the racket again. Similar to the forehand, aim for your opponent’s side and lift the shuttlecock high so it crosses the net.
There are also a few fun tricks you can learn to show your friends. This is one of these tricks how to serve the shuttlecock. To serve, grip the shuttlecock in your hand and toss it up in the air. Then strike the shuttlecock with your racket as high as you can. Another fun maneuver is the smash. Player should hit the shuttlecock with high speed and powerful swing. By sending the shuttlecock flying up and over the net and into your opponent's half of the court, this will only increase the chance to make it difficult for your opponent to return the shot.
